About
SPMS Ltd was created to address the processes used to deliver projects, and to consider ways to make these sustainable. Sustainability must be systemic in the delivery process and therefore embedded within an organization’s governance.

The Three Pillars of sustainability are Social, Environmental and Economic otherwise referred to as People, Planet and Profit can be supplemented with Processes and Product. This is explained in more detail by GPM www.greenprojectmanagement.org

Project Managers must act now
Quote “the further development of the project management profession requires project managers to take responsibility for sustainability”. IPMA Vice-President Mary McKinlay stated at the 2008 IPMA World Congress in Rome.
The United Nations agreed the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDG’s) at their conference in New York in September 2015. Project Manages are best placed to deliver these outcomes.
Project Managers have the competence and rigour to deliver these outcomes and should step up to ensure they are achieved through the projects they manage.
The Five P’s for sustainability: People, Planet, Profit, Product and Processes; embed them in your project.
